Cabbage (January King) Leeks Parsnips Turnips
Carrots Lettuce Potatoes (main crop) Watercress


 

Job's to do in January...

  • Harvest winter cabbages, leeks and Jerusalem artichokes.

  • Dig over new vegetable beds and leave the clods of earth to broken up by the frost.

  • Cover winter vegetables and salad crops, leeks ,sprouts,green cabbage, rocket aand endives under a poly tunnel or fleece if necessary.  Ventilate occasionally

  • Repair fences and support espallers.
